QEEG

QEEG to confirm the diagnosis of ADHD

Sometime the diagnosis of ADHD is difficult to confirm.

We use a medical device to assess brain function to investigate the issue further.

Using Quantitative Electroencephalogram (QEEG) we study the neurophysiology of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

The procedure can be useful in children, starting at age 6 to 65.

The system is approve by the FDA in patients age 6-17 to confirm the diagnosis of ADHD as part of a comprehensive clinical assessment.

The patient should not take medications for 3 days prior to the QEEG procedure.

Results are available after 2-3 days for ages 6-17 and 1-2 weeks for older patients.
